Administrator training

This page provides a comprehensive overview of the training opportunities available to LGPS pension administrators, including course dates and registration details.

Information

  • Courses are limited to a maximum of 18 attendees to ensure everyone has sufficient opportunity to interact with the trainer and other attendees. For this reason, and for revenue protection, we ask that all attendees have their cameras turned on during online training.
  • Attendees will receive a PDF training manual for their own personal use.
  • Cost is £255 (plus VAT) per person for online training and £295 (plus VAT) for one day face-to-face training.
  • Insight residential courses cost £949 (plus VAT). Insight online costs £635 (plus VAT).
  • Transfers In is an online only course which runs for half a day and costs £125 (plus VAT).
  • In person courses in London are held at the LGA offices; Local Government House, 18 Smith Square, London, SW1P 3HZ.
  • Places are limited to 5 per administering authority, per course over the 2025 training period.
